About
Writing is her
calling and love
ANGELA DOLBEAR
Angela Dolbear
graduated Magna cum
Laude from Biola
University with a degree
in Communications. Her
alma mater became the
setting for her first novel,
THE GARDEN KEY. She
wrote three more books
with the same cast of
characters, following
Maddy and Peter's life
progression. She is
writing her fifth novel
and fourth in the series,
THE MID-CENTURY
BREAKFAST CLUB, slated
for release in Christmas
of 2024.
She also writes a monthly column
titled “Unearthly Thing” for THYME
Magazine, and is the Beauty Editor for
the magazine, penning the monthly
column “Sugar+Spice.” She was a
featured writer in Southern Writers
Magazine and is a member of Word
Weavers International.
Angela loves writing prose and songs
in her cozy home and studio in
Nashville, Tennessee. Her latest
album, STORMS, is full of melodic
testimonial songs from different styles
of music and will be available on her
website on July 1, 2024.
Angela shares her beautifully
remodeled 1959 ranch-style home
with her audio engineer husband,
their two dogs, and one muse/black
cat. Angela was born and raised in
Southern California and is fond of
mid-century aesthetics.
“I didn’t set out in life to
be a writer, much less a
novelist. I’m a musician,
singer, and published
songwriter with three
albums of original
material released,”
Angela says. Her music
has achieved radio
airplay in Southern
California’s massive
Orange County market.
Angela is a Featured
author of Southern
Writers Magazine.
“I’ve always been drawn
to stories, being an avid
fiction reader for as long
as I can remember.
Consequently, writing
prose has been the
natural progression from
songwriting for me,”
Angela says.
